The 2006 Beyond the Unicorn Christmas Craft Fair was another resounding success, in spite of torrential downpours on Friday evening when most crafter's prefer to set up their booths in preparation for the "big event." However, despite the weather, however, many brave crafter's arrived with their wonderful creations, while outside there were high winds, downed trees, closed highways, and electrical outages throughout Vermont.
Fortunately, temperatures were mild and every crafter was set up and ready to go when the doors opened at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. The weather didn't deter our usual large crowd of shoppers, and the parking lot was full to capacity by 9:45 a.m. As usual, the Christmas shoppers were delighted what the "mini-mall" atmosphere and with assortment of beautiful handcrafted items and gifts, music, fun and fabulous food only found "Beyond the Unicorn!"
