Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic and a survey we took with the reunion classes involved, the Springfield Alumni Association has decided to cancel the 2021 Alumni Banquet and Parade, and not try to hold them in August. We feel that the safety of our Alumni is the most important thing.

We are almost to the light at the end of the tunnel of this situation, but we feel it is safer not to have the weekend in 2021 and hopefully be able to come back strong in 2022. So, we are planning on a “NORMAL” Alumni Weekend 2022 on Father’s Day weekend, June 16th thru 19th, 2022. We will be celebrating 3 graduating classes! - The classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 - and reunion classes for the same years - we hope to have tons of involvement!

With no alumni weekends for 2 years the expenses will be higher in 2022. We will be setting up a PayPal link and urge you to pay your dues this year, if you can, by donating to the scholarships funds and the general fund, which we are in the process of setting up. We know times are tough for many but if you can please help us in any way it will help us to try to make 2022 as special as can be.

All the information will be on the alumni website (www.shsalumni.com) and Facebook within the next few weeks as to how you can make your donations.

Please update your contact information with current mailing address and/or email addresses. We are going to try to email as many newsletters we can to help save on one of the huge expenses of printing and mailing.

We hope to see as many as possible in 2022 to celebrate our alumni spirit and pride that we are all used to and proud of!
