Alumni Weekend 2022

Let’s get excited!!!!

ANNUAL PARADE - Saturday, June 18th. It will be a little different because we are not having a banquet. Everyone is asked to be parked and ready to go by 10:00am in the LBL parking lot. Please note that ALL participants will be receiving more information and guidelines in mid-May. If you have registered for the parade or notified us you must do so ASAP.

Promptly at 10:00am the Pastor of the Day, Gerry Piper will give the blessing for all alumni past and present. The Alumni Honored Guest, the Roberta Stokes Smith Hall of Fame and 2022 Alumni Scholarship recipients will be announced and any presentations will be done at this same time.

The classic car will do their usual parade. Alumni parade will commence at 10:30am with the Springfield Fire Department truck behind the Springfield High School banner carriers. There will be a couple special dance presentations in the square by a Dreamz in Motion dance group. Of course, we will be selling the amazing Alumni popcorn in the square, the plaza and along the parade route and the bucket brigade will be walking the route with the hope you will be willing to drop a few bucks in the buckets.

Parade will end at Riverside Middle School where everyone will be allowed to disband and move their floats to their place for dismantling.
